Applies to all WR Audiology training courses and programmes, including but not limited to:

- Ear Anatomy & Otoscopy
- Aural Impressions
- Ear Wax Removal
- Hearing Care Assistant Programme
- Refresher and advanced workshops

By booking or attending a WR Audiology training course, the delegate and/or booking organisation
agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. BOOKINGS & COURSE PLACES

Course places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A booking is confirmed only when WR Audiology has issued confirmation, and the required deposit or full payment has been received.WR Audiology reserves the right to refuse or withdraw a place where eligibility requirements or prerequisites are not met.A confirmed booking creates a contractual obligation for the reserved training place subject to these Terms & Conditions.

2. FEES & PAYMENT

A non-refundable deposit is required at booking unless otherwise stated in writing. Full payment must be received no later than 28 days before the course start date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.Where payment is not received by the due date, WR Audiology may cancel the booking and reallocate the place.Course prices are fixed at time of booking and are not retrospectively adjusted due to later discounts or promotions.

3. PAYMENT DISPUTES & CHARGEBACKS

Delegates agree to contact WR Audiology directly to resolve any payment issue before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Unresolved chargebacks may result in certificate suspension and recovery action.

4. DELEGATE ELIGIBILITY & PREREQUISITES

Some courses require prior knowledge or clinical competence.Examples include:• Aural Impressions - otoscopy competence required• Ear Wax Removal - otoscopy competence required• Advanced modules - prior module completion may be requiredDelegates are responsible for ensuring they meet prerequisites. WR Audiology may refuse attendance where prerequisites are not met. Transfer to another suitable course may be offered at discretion.

5. CLINICAL SCOPE & SUPERVISION REQUIREMENT

WR Audiology courses provide skills training and supervised practical instruction.Completion of training confirms supervised competence within the training environment. Delegates are responsible for ensuring they meet all legal, regulatory, insurance, and governance requirements before practising independently.Delegates remain responsible for:

- working within professional scope
- employer governance
- regulatory requirements
- supervision arrangements
- indemnity insurance

Certificates confirm training and/or supervised competence within the training environment only. WR Audiology does not grant licences, registrations, or statutory authority to practise.

6. COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT & CERTIFICATION

Where courses include practical assessment, certification depends on demonstrated safe performance and assessor judgement - not attendance alone.If required competence is not demonstrated:

- certification may be withheld
- further supervised training may be recommended
- reassessment or remedial training may incur additional fees

Assessment decisions are final.

7. ASSESSMENT & REMEDIAL TRAINING

Where a delegate does not meet required safety or competency standards:

- additional training may be required
- reassessment is not guaranteed to be free
- remedial sessions are chargeable

No refunds are provided due to non-achievement of competence.

8. DELEGATE FITNESS TO PARTICIPATE

Delegates must be fit to participate in practical and clinical training.WR Audiology may refuse or stop participation where a delegate:

- appears unwell
- cannot follow safety instructions
- behaves unsafely
- poses risk to patients or others

Delegates must disclose any condition that may affect safe participation in practical training. WR Audiology may restrict participation where safety could be compromised.No refund is guaranteed where removal is for safety reasons.

9. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

Delegates must behave professionally and respectfully toward trainers, patients, and other learners.WR Audiology may remove delegates for:

- unsafe practice
- disruptive behaviour
- harassment or abuse
- refusal to follow safety rules

Delegates must maintain professional dignity, patient respect, and confidentiality at all times during practical and observed clinical activities. Removal does not guarantee refund.

10. PRACTICAL TRAINING & PATIENT PROCEDURES

Many courses include supervised procedures on models or patients.Delegates agree to:

- follow all instructions
- work only under supervision
- stop immediately when instructed
- follow infection control protocols
- respect patient dignity and consent

Delegates acknowledge that certain training activities involve supervised clinical procedures and practical techniques carrying inherent risk if performed incorrectly. By attending, delegates agree to follow all trainer instructions, safety protocols, and stop criteria at all times. WR Audiology reserves the right to halt any procedure immediately on safety grounds.All trainer safety decisions, stop instructions, and participation limits are final during training sessions. Delegates must comply immediately with all safety directions.

11. COURSE CANCELLATIONS BY TRAINEE/DELEGATE

All cancellations and transfer requests must be made in writing and are only valid once acknowledged by WR Audiology. A confirmed booking secures your place on the course, and as spaces are limited, cancellation charges reflect the impact of late changes.Standard cancellation terms apply:
Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the course date are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the course will incur a 50% charge.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the course date, including non-attendance, are non-refundable.

One date transfer may be permitted at the discretion of WR Audiology, subject to availability and an administration fee. Only one transfer is permitted per booking.Bookings funded by an employer or organisation are non-refundable once confirmed.

12. BUSINESS & EMPLOYER BOOKINGS

Where a course place is booked by an employer, clinic, or organisation, the booking is considered a business-to-business transaction. Business bookings are non-refundable once confirmed, except where WR Audiology cancels the course.

13. NO GUARANTEE OF BUSINESS OR CLINICAL OUTCOMES

Training provides education and supervised skill development only. WR Audiology does not guarantee business success, clinical outcomes, employment opportunities, patient volume, income generation, or regulatory approval following training.

14. COURSE CHANGES OR CANCELLATION BY WR AUDIOLOGY

WR Audiology may reschedule or cancel courses due to:

- trainer illness
- safety concerns
- venue issues
- minimum numbers not met
- events beyond reasonable control

Delegates will be offered:
- alternative date, or
- refund of fees paid

WR Audiology is not liable for travel, accommodation, or loss-of-earnings costs.Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 14 business days.

15. MINIMUM DELEGATE NUMBERS

Courses may require minimum numbers to run. Where numbers are not met, WR Audiology may reschedule or cancel with alternative date or refund offered.

16. FORCE MAJEURE

WR Audiology is not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control including severe weather, transport disruption, public health incidents, venue closure, or trainer illness.

17. TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION

WR Audiology is not responsible for delegate travel, accommodation, subsistence, or related costs under any circumstances.

18. EQUIPMENT USE

Training equipment must be used only as instructed. Delegates are liable for damage caused through misuse or negligence.Personal equipment remains the delegate’s responsibility.

19. COURSE MATERIALS & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All training materials remain the intellectual property of WR Audiology.They may not be copied, shared, recorded, reproduced, or used to deliver other training without written permission.Recording or streaming training is not permitted without written consent.Breach of this clause may result in removal from training without refund.

20. COURSE MATERIALS ACCESS

Where pre-course materials or online modules are issued, service delivery is considered to have commenced for cancellation and refund purposes to the extent permitted by law.

21. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA

Training sessions may be photographed for quality assurance or promotional use. Delegates may opt out by notifying WR Audiology in writing before the course.

22. CERTIFICATE USE & REPRESENTATION

Certificates confirm training completion and/or supervised competence only.Certificates must not be used to imply:

- licence to practise
- regulated qualification
- specialist registration
- independent clinical authority

WR Audiology may withdraw or invalidate certificates where misuse, misrepresentation, unsafe practice, or breach of these Terms occurs.

23. POST-TRAINING PRACTICE RESPONSIBILITY

All post-course clinical activity is undertaken under the delegate’s own professional responsibility and governance framework.WR Audiology accepts no liability for clinical acts performed outside the supervised training environment.

24. INSURANCE RESPONSIBILITY

Delegates are responsible for holding appropriate professional and indemnity insurance before performing procedures outside training.

25. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WR Audiology’s liability is limited to the amount of course fees paid. WR Audiology is not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of income, business opportunity, or reputation arising from course attendance or post-training practice.

26. SAFEGUARDING & PATIENT WELFARE

All training follows safeguarding and patient welfare principles. Delegates must comply with safeguarding expectations at all times.

27. COMPLAINTS

WR Audiology operates a formal complaints procedure available on request. Complaints must be submitted in writing and will be investigated and responded to within defined timeframes.

28. THIRD-PARTY VENUES

Where courses are held at third-party venues, delegates must follow all site rules. WR Audiology is not liable for venue-controlled conditions.

29. TERMS SUPREMACY

These Terms & Conditions override conflicting statements in marketing materials or verbal representations.

30. VARIATION OF TERMS

WR Audiology may update these Terms & Conditions. The version in effect at time of booking applies.

31. SEVERABILITY

If any clause is found unenforceable, remaining clauses remain valid.

32. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.Delegates booking from Scotland, Northern Ireland, or the Republic of Ireland agree that bookings are made with a provider based in England and that English law governs the contract.

33. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties relating to course bookings and training delivery.
